Study On Public Landscape Architecture Of The Jiangsu Provincialcapital Zhenjiang Of The Republic Of China

The study on public Landscape Architecture of the capital of the Republic of China Zhenjiang is in view of “public enjoyment” to research public pleasure grounds shared by citizens during the period of Zhenjiang as the capital of the Republic of China. Through extensive literature survey,on-the-spot research analysis,interviews with local old people,relevant summary and induce,this article divides Zhenjiang Republic Landscape architectures into six categories of city greening, city park, city square, garden nursery, celebrity cemetery and Religious Garden, starting from the development of the historical background, cultural background, gardening background.Then the article enumerates each category with examples,compares to the differences and connections between the various types and draws out the main distribution map.On the basis of the analysis, the author summarized four aspects of the construction subjects and use function,Landscape techniques and construction technology,Landscape elements and artistic characteristics,Landscape management and protection and renewal.The ancient city Zhenjiang is a very important river channel and as a port city for thousand years. The superior natural environment bears the rich and colorful cultural history of the city to make it become the capital of Jiangsu Province in the period of the Republic of China and win the hitherto unknown development opportunity. In a series of capital construction project,especially affected by the trial construction area planning, road network planning of provincial capital, five years afforestation plan of provincial capital, landscape planning of provincial capital, Zhenjiang starts the city public Landscape Architecture construction in the modern sense. During the complex and changeable historical period, the public Landscape Architecture of provincial capital Inherited the tradition of Chinese classical gardens and influenced by the trend of modern landscape, landscape theory and landscape experts which formed its unique basic paradigm.In the construction subject of Landscape Architecture, government is the most important,social clever men,Industrial men and masses occasionally. In the functions,the public Landscape Architectures made leisure and recreation, culture and education, sports, meeting and performance places for the whole masses,and it played a positive effect on protecting environment, enhanced the city image. In the plane layout, they realized the diverse composition style and actual changes in Landscape design. The public Landscape Architecture is the most representative one to reflect the characteristics of the times and city landscape construction in Zhenjiang during the Republic of China.So,the study on public Landscape Architecture of provincial capital Zhenjiang has important historical and academic value.The study found that the public Landscape Architectures of the Republic of China Zhenjiang are significant of the construction of urban green space system in Zhenjiang and the research of public landscape of the Republic of China.According to the provincial capital construction plan Zhenjiang will form a stable green space system:a structure of plaque-corridor-stroma.Of course,the capital of Zhenjiang during the Republic period also some deficiencies in city planning and landscape design,but there are still many important experience is worth learning.One is rational city partial planning,the second is the scientific, democratic decision-making in city construction,the third is calls from social forces in all walks of life in Zhenjiang to support the construction of modern city.
