Study On The Construction Of Silkworm Breeding Factory In Zhenjiang Of The Republic Of China

In the early period of the republic of China,the sericultural regions of southern Jiangsu province,with Wuxi as the core,started from the silkworm egg of the source of silkworm,and promoted scientific selection and breeding locally in the way of building professional silkworm breeding factory.Because of its geographical distance from Wuxi,Zhenjiang did not appear in the first professional silkworm breeding factory constructed by the government organization in zhenjiang until 1926.However,within a few years,a group of private silkworm breeding factory with the core of the Zhenjiang Silkworm Breeding Factory were rapidly established and put into operation.In contrast with other areas of southern Jjiangsu,these silkworm breeding factories are mostly located in the hilly wasteland of countryside,and the construction time and space are relatively concentrated.This paper takes these as the starting point of research,takes the existing the silkworm breeding factories as the main research object,trying to explore Zhenjiang regional characteristics of the silkworm breeding factory construction activities in this period,sort out the development vein of Zhenjiang silkworm architecture.The first step is to obtain the basic information of silkworm breeding factory in Zhenjiang.With field surveying and assisted by way of questionnaire interview,we obtain the silkworm breeding factory general layout and construction and use information of silkworm architecture after in-depth field research on the sample of silkworm breeding factory.On the basis of these data,we analyzed the sample silkworm breeding factory by the method of typology,according to the dimension of the general plane to single silkworm architectuer.By analyzing the types of sample silkworm breeding factories and silkworm breeding factories in other areas of southern Jiangsu province,this paper generalizes the regional characteristics of the construction of the silkworm breeding factory in Zhenjiang.At the same time,we compare the sample silkworm architectures in the sequence of time,and sort out the changes of the type of the these silkworm architectures,and explore the mechanism of change.Based on these analysis,first of all,we consider the local characteristics to be reflected in location and scale configuration of silkworm breeding factory,enclosure and building technology of silkworm architecture,but not in the general planning of silkworm breeding factory and space structure of silkworm architecture.Secondly,based on sorting out the changes of the type of the these silkworm architectures,we consider that,due to the development of silkworm breeding factory in Zhenjiang relatively late,the type of silkworm architecture early in zhenjiang area mainly imitate the surrounding existing mature silkworm architectures,after intensive construction and the experience summary,silkworm architecture in enclosure and building technology gradually develop local characteristics.This conclusion indicates that the perspective of the improvement stage of sericulture helps to study the development vein of silkworm architecture more macroscopically.
