This paper was written relying upon the project with the name“Research On The Motor Vehicle Brake Hose Testing System”subsidized by the technical development fund of China Academy of Machinery Science& Technology.The paper illustrates the necessity and urgency of the revision of national compulsory standards of brake hose, combining the present testing situation of brake hose in domestic and abroad. Then the motor vehicle brake hose testing technology are introduced from the technical aspect in the paper. Besides, the standards formulating and the present testing situation of brake hose are discussed, analyzed the corresponding demand for testing equipment because of the implementation of new standards, furthermore. And the research significance of the issue is expounded as well.In this paper, the test methods of brake hose’s properties are systematically analyzed. The new national standard’s requirements and test methods of brake hose are clarified, with the testing equipments, testing items,and so on after GB 16897’s revision, being analyzed and interpreted, based upon the results of comparison between and research on FMVSS106-1993、ISO3996-1995、SAE J1401-2003、JIS D2601-1995、DIN 73378-1996、GB/T 7127.1-2000.The paper goes through several redesigns and alterations as to the project’s theory and scheme, and finally, pan-hydraulic dynamic system becomes the ultimate scheme.Meanwhile, the main parameters of hydraulic dynamic part are calculated. The testing system consists of hot impulse, expansion and rupture testing subordinate function modules. The power is provided by hydraulic system, which includes hydraulic pumps, combining valves, accumulators, oil—water supercharging system、oil—water convertor, water-storage tank, filter and so on.The different-medium problem is solved by using oil—water supercharging system and oil—water convertor,and the three tests, ie hot impulse, expansion and rupture tests are integrated into functions that can be executed with one equipment,thus improving the efficiency and reducing the repeated usage of components.Furthermore, the design of the system adopts the power matching method of low-power hydraulic pump and high-efficiency & big-storage accumulator, thus on the one hand, meeting the transient high-power requirements of big-storage hoses, on theother hand, reducing the starting frequency, which will help achieve the aim of power saving. Besides, adopting the OMRON CJ1 M PLC to control the whole system,resorting to the industrial automation configuration software-Kingview, adjusting the system’s data net transportation, and PLC’s space plan, as well as the PID control of system temperature are all interpreted.In this paper,AMESim7.0 was used to modeling and simulation for this hydraulic system, and AMESim is one kind of software for modeling, simulation and dynamic analysis of hydraulic and mechanical system, which is a production of Imagine Corporation of France, validated the effectiveness of the theory and scheme of achieving the purpose of testing which was expected, and provided the basis to further optimize the testing system.Finally,the main study contents and innovations of this paper are summarized.The advantages and prospects of this integrated testing system were analyzed and testing methods’ new developments and research directions of the brake hose are discussed.
