With the economy and social developm ent, a large number of large commercial complex, rich cultural life of the masses at th e same time, it also brin gs a lot of fire safety problems. However indoor walking street as an important space of lar ge commercial complex constitute the way, its fire prevention measures to a lar ge extent the effectiveness of the entire commercial complex to determine the level of fire safety.This paper analyzes the indoor pedestrian street designed primarily fire Difficulties. On the actual work involved in Hangzhou fi re design guidance and review of Ra ffles City project analysis. O n the "large atrium" indoor pedestrian street fire design review and difficult problems encountered in starting, targeted proposed regulation, fire district, smoke and fire control facilities design strategies and fire prevention measures; and the use of FDS fire performance analysis m ethod of flue gas flow and STEPS evacuation simulation of the secu rity design of the study, the res earchers showed that: the prevention and Control measures project for the "large atrium" proposed is feasible and effective; "large atrium" interior Street fire design can achieve th e ideal level of fire safety, its design concept is feasible; FDS simulation by comparing flue gas analysis, natural ventilation scheme can achieve ev en more than by the st andard design of security, which can meet the fire protection design providing evacuation time is longer than the tim e required for evacuation(AS ET>RSET) performance analysis safe evacuation requirements. Meanwhile, the auth or combined with site visits and fire supervision and inspection of the same types of projects, we found some problems that need attention, and proposed im provement measures, in order to "lar ge atrium" Fire indoor pedestrian street designed to provide some practical reference value.
