The Study Of The Rraditional Tibetan Settlements And Residence Of Aqu River Basin In Aba State In Northwest Of Sichuan

China, a country with a vast territory and abundant resources whose National Geographic are so different, which makes the residential patterns colorful. The buildings, within local culture and construction techniques, are treasures in China or even in the whole world. Northwest Sichuan Aba County is a part of Amdo Tibetan areas which is one of the three major Tibetan areas in China. The geographical position and humanities environment of Aba County are highly representative, which makes the architectural culture here very important to understand the Amdo Tibetan culture. The architectural styles in Aqu River Basin, a part of Aba County, are so representative and so different from styles in other regions, which is effected by the local natural environment, Tusi culture and culture religion.After field investigation in Aqu River Basin, this article makes comparative analysis research on the residential settlement based on architecture, urban planning theory. Based on the unique cultural and geographical environment in Amdo Tibetan areas, the whole article talks about location and patterns of the settlement, plane and facade functionality, exterior decoration, structural features, which is to describe the formation and evolution of the regional architectural culture in Aba County. According to the research, the article also talks about some problems Aqu River Basin are facing and may face in the future, then provide with some solutions and technical supports.It is hoped that through this study, we can learn more about the history and culture of Aqu River Basin and get to know more connotation of this region. The Tibetan vernacular architecture in Aqu River Basin are so representative as both the building planes, structures, arts are so unique, which is worth for us to summarize and reference. At the same time, it has a significant role in rich Amdo Tibetan Architecture and settlement of the issue.
