| Clothing thermal insulation is one of the most important parameters in thermal comfort, the influence of clothing to maintain body temperature is extremely important.However, domestic thermal comfort standards do not containmethods to calculate the clothing insulation,whileinternational Standards, such asASHRAE Standard 55 and ISO7730, also have differences for the calculation of clothing insulation, and both of them are not applicable to the field study of China.According to the above issues, a large number of clothing insulationsare measured, and different thermal insulation calculation methods are compared.These methods arealso verified by field study data.Firstly, a clothing insulation test process is determined according to the international and domestic clothing insulation test standards.Then plenty ofinsulation tests for pieces of clothing are conducted.The results show that they are similar to the international standards.To make the database usable in the field study ofthermal comfort, the test also contains a lot of "Chinese characteristics" clothing, such aslong johns, thick pajamas and pants, etc.Secondly, usethe same test process to test the clothing insulation for ensembles.In the process of testing, we found that the internal air layerhave an important influence on clothing insulation.Heat transfer between the manikin’s different blocks will also reduce clothing insulation. Thuswe need to choose different ways to calculateclothing insulation for ensemblesaccording to different requirements.Thirdly, we use different methods to show the characterization of the clothing of the respondents.The different dressing habitslead to different requirements of the building environment in different buildings and areas.Finally, according to analysis of field study, a linear relationship between the number of dressing pieces and theclothing insulation for ensembles is discovered.Thus we can use the existing data to determine the rank of clothing insulation for ensembles for different dressing pieces numbers,which can be used in field study to determine the clothing insulation roughlyThe test values of clothing insulation for different clothing pieces, the clothing insulation data from different climate zones and the comparison between different calculation methodsin this thesis couldprovide the theoretical basis and the data support for the establishment and modificationof standards for thermal comfort in China. |
