Located in Zhuhai Gaolan Port Economic Zone,Guangdong Province,Zhuhai Power Plant was established in April 12,1999,included 2 *700MW sub-critical coal-fired units,which was the largest single capacity. Adopted international advanced design,supply and construction EPC approach,Zhuhai Power Plant was constructed by the Japanese Mitsubishi group,which was put into operation in 2000 and 2001. The boiler, turbine equipment were made byMHI,and generator was manufactured by Westinghouse. Zhuhai Power Plant costs a total investment of 9.98 billion yuan.With thermal power plant becoming large-scaled,digitizing and automated,as the“brain”and “nervous system”of the power plant,thermal control equipment,was getting more and more influenced on the safety and stability of the thermal power plant. For now, the maintenance mode of thermal control equipment in Zhuhai Power Plant,is “regular maintenance”mode traditionally. The regular maintenance cycle is generally synchronized to the master device of the unit,or in accordance with test procedures of the instruments.There are at least two problems on this “regular maintenance”mode :“over overhaul”and “less overhaul”.This not only causes wasted human,material and financial resources,but also possible security risks to the power plant,which is difficult to ensure the reliability of the thermal control device. Hence,it is meaningful to find out a more scientific and rational maintenance mode on thermal control equipment,according to the characteristics of thermal control equipment,as well as the requirements of modern enterprise management,which is useful for reducing maintenance costs.Based on the analysis of problems caused by thermal control equipment maintenance mode of Zhuhai Power,and the features of thermal control devices,the paper propose to establish an new maintenance mode of thermal control equipment for Zhuhai Power Plant-the state maintenance. Alsothis paper elaborates the significance and specific methods of the state maintenance.,which included:(1)usingtotal productive maintenance(TPM) theory to reduce the defect rate of thermal control equipment;(2)using reliability-centered maintenance(RCM) theory on optimization of routine inspection and preventive maintenance work;(3) using risky-centered maintenance(RBM)theory on optimization of standard overhaul package,which aimed at improving the reliability,availability of thermal control equipment,reducing repair and maintenance work in the human, financial,material and other resource consumption,reducing cost of power generation,and improving enterprise efficiency in Zhuhai power plant. At the same time,we are looking forward to provide a reference to the thermal control professional peers.
