The innovation of new technology in computer field already deeply affect the architectural design process and cognitive thinking. It produceda number of text and models according to their respective industry standards through various types of softwarefrom the early stages of building and conceptual design to completed construction project and maintenance. And theseinformation which is valuable experience and has guiding significance for similar projects is only in static type storage. But how to make this kind of experience into dynamic storage and make subsequent similar projects for reference and inspiration should be for further research. This paper develops the ontology potential usein the architecture area and discusses the architecture domain ontology application prospect in the direction of the case-based reasoning. At the same time, it explores the new cognitive for architectureand the developments in the field of artificial intelligence.By analyzing problems and summarizingchallenges faced by construction industry present situation, the necessity of architecture domain ontology and case-based reasoning is proposed in order to make achieve architectural information resources reuse effectively and more efficiently and professionaly tosolve construction problems.First of all, the study summarizes the theory of ontology and case-based reasoning two research status in the field of architecture.Systemly summarized the principle of ontology knowledge (construction principles, construction elements, and construction tools protege, etc.) and the key technology of case-based reasoning (case representation, retrieval and reuse, modification and save).Discusses the necessity of construction of architecturedomain ontology and the construction method and process in details. It provides theoretical basis for the application in ontology and case-based reasoning. Then, this paperdiscussed the content of architecturedomain ontology construction and examples.Determine the scope of architecture domain ontology construction and emphasize that conceptual expression in domain knowledge is the important role of related subjects consensus. In determining the architecture domain ontology elements and conceptual structure, with construction of the core concept of "wall" and the "column" and "cross" attribute, for example, using the combination of seven steps and METHOLOGY architecture domain ontology construction, including define concepts (classes) and attribute, the relationship between the custom properties, coding and the improvement of the formalization and building domain ontology evolution. And put forward building domain ontology writing should be based on the IFC standard in order to achieve the maximum scalability. And illustrate the specific architectural design described in detail how to in the construction of domain ontology. Finally, the Case-based Reasoning on the construction of domain ontology application process. With architecture domain ontology construction principles and construction characteristics with clear structure of architectural case content, and putted forward.By case-based reasoning applied analysis, find out the suitable for the key technology in the field of construction method, including the construction case, indexing and retrieval process need to various data processing methods, etc.Expounds the applicable way to case-based reasoning based on building domain ontology, and explore to retrieve case correction strategy, reuse condition and saving way, etc.Based on domain ontology building of case retrieval process framework system, to a certain extent, increased the possibility of a construction case information reuse, and guide the construction of related projects to reducing the loss of time and economic cost, promote the digital process in the construction field.
