Abstract/Summary:
Product configuration management is a key technique for enterprises to carry out mass customization production mode.In order to satisfy customers' diversify demand, product configuration management can help realizing differentiation and Individuation of product, making use of historical data and experience effectively, shortening the product development cycle, improve sharing and reusing of components. Finally, low-cost, highly flexible, efficient production can be realized.Product configuration and evaluation based on ontology is put forward to solve the problems in enterprise, such as complex of configuration method, low sharing and reuse of product knowledge and lack of evaluation system. Firstly, according to the analyses of the current research of product configuration, three key technologies were proposed, ontology, case-based reasoning and analytic hierarchy process. According to the requirement of enterprises and customers, product configuration system was generally designed based on ontology model, which include the system function model, information model and implement approach. Then, the ontology base of motorcycle's configuration was built. Models of customer ontology and product ontology configuration were defined. According to product configuration rules and constraints, ontology relations were created Therefore, the mapping from model of customer's requirement to the model of product configuration based on ontology is realized. Afterward, by case-based reasoning, product configuration was accomplished. Moreover, by using the theory of analytic hierarchy process, the product configuration system based on ontology were evaluated and determined.
