On The Construction And Development Of Rural Settlement Of Huayao Dai Nationality In Xinping County Based On The Conception Of "Romantic Habitation"

This thesis focuses on the construction of the new and beautiful village, and issues concerning agriculture, farmer and countryside under the background of the new-type urbanization and the development of urban and rural integration. The rural settlement of Huayao Dai Nationality in Xinping County is located in the natural ecological background with high mountains and valleys, and unique humanistic style. The settlement enjoys exquisite landscapes. Meanwhile, it is also confronted with questions like the destroyed traditional rural appearance, the vanished national culture, the unidealistic human settlement environment and slow economic development. From the construction perspective of rural ideal living environment, this thesis comprehensively analyzes the romanticism and existing problems of Huayao Dai Rural Settlement, sets the construction goal, content and construction framework of the romantic dwelling, and researches and discusses construction countermeasures to the romantic dwelling through typical cases. We hope that the result of this thesis offers good guidance to the construction and development of local rural settlements, and owns the value of enlightenment and reference to beautiful village construction and the development of countryside in minority areas in the meantime.This thesis is divided into five chapters.In the chapter one, research content and method are determined and related theories and practical experiences of rural construction are sorted to provide theoretical guidance to the research. We attach great importance to the urban construction movement and related theories under the impact of western romanticism to study the features of ideal living environment driven by this trend of thought. Besides, characteristics of Chinese traditional ideal living environment are summarized from Chinese traditional philosophy and poets’ creations. Furthermore, lessons are drawn from experiences of rural construction at home and abroad.Fundamental conditions and elements of the romantic dwelling are searched by digging and describing the romanticism of settlements from national culture, regional environment and settlement environment in the chapter two.Construction conception of the romantic dwelling of Huayao Dai Rural Settlement is put forward in the chapter three. Its construction framework, construction goals and content are set from economic industries, cultural life and spatial environment. At the basis of this framework, integral analysis on existing problems and development potential of settlements is made. And countermeasures of establishing the romantic dwelling are discussed by studying two typical settlements in Huayao Dai, pastoral type in dam area and forest and fruit type in gentle slope hills.In the chapter four, based on the conception of the romantic dwelling, overall settlement construction ideas are raised from the macroscopic strategic level. And then construction countermeasures to construction content are proposed for all parts of the framework.Future prospect is detailed in the chapter five. As beautiful village construction is the main measure for establishing rural ideal living environment, we sort the process of beautiful village construction, analyze its connotation and present the key point of current beautiful village construction. In addition, evaluation index system of beautiful village construction is discussed. At last, main conclusions, limitations and innovations of this thesis are presented.
