The Architectural Design Study From The Perspective Of Topography

With the rapid development of the construction of our country, the high degree of globalization and the information society, also more and more promote the integration of the subject and theory. Architecture will be more inevitable penetrated by other areas, subjects and ideas, architects also need to stand in a more association, communication and dynamic way to explore contemporary architecture. How could construction better coordination of the natural environment, and even become an integral part of the original land, these problems gradually become the most commonly challenge in architectural design. The orientation of construction moves toward to the most original autonomy of itself, the integration of terrainIn view of the above problems, base on the development trend of contemporary architecture and the building and earth form fusion, the author analyses and discusses the architecture design ideas and strategies under the view of contemporary topography. At first expounds the evolution of the relationship between the architecture and the environment and the development track of buildings and terrain fusion, then inspired by some related theories, and leads the concept of topography, and expounds the architectural design’s era background and theoretical basis, combined with specific cases to analyse the building’s characteristics and design strategy, and discusses the strategy and significance of this new design concept. Finally, through the theoretical research to guide design practice, the author took part in the Erhai Lake Manor Resort Hotel design, as a guide to design practice to deepen the understanding and use of topographical design. Based on the construction’s own shape how to responds to the surrounding terrain and coordinates the relationship between landscape, environment and site, through the extraction of behavior path, activities of memory, to explore the possibility of building space form.This thesis is divided into five parts, the first part discusses the objects and the research background, the purpose and significance of the research of the terrain and architecture design, and its dynamic situation and prototype approach; the second part is the theoretical analysis: according to the early historical and manifestations perspective, it discusses the origin of the topography of architectural design, how related theory influenced it, the development and core of architectural theory. The third part is the theoretical analysis:the analysis of the design features and strategic method of topography architectural design:combining a large number of specific cases, mainly from the relationship between the construction and the environment, the design space, strategic method to analysis, and discussion on the design strategy and method for the mining and the application of the terrain. The fourth part is the actual project design study:according to the theory and design method analysis of the preceding chapters, this research integrates the topography overall concept and design ideas into the Erhai Lake Manor Resort Hotel design, thus the research could harvest regression and guide practice, provide a verification platform for the theory, it is the exploration of the topography design:a combination of the morphological, environmental, functional space and the construction of venues, the deep analysis of practice project. The fifth part is the conclusion part:mainly through the project design experience, to summed up the inspired and problems encountered in the design, and bold speculation development trend, at same time to give some technical suggestions in the design.
