With the exhaustion of traditonal energy and utilization of new energy, exporation and use of renewable energy have received considerable attention. Because of its cleanliness and unlimited sustainability, solar energy becomes one of the most outstanding new energy. At home and abroad, photovoltaic home system is increasingly popular. So the study of photovoltaic home system becomes one of the present research hotspots in the distributed generation system.This thesis focuses on the photovoltaic home system applications. The purpose is to evaluate the operation performances of photovoltaic home system. Photovoltaic home system operation characteristics, evaluation indexes, operation evaluation model and real-time monitoring system are investigated. The main contents are summarized in the following.Firstly, the basic structure of photovoltaic home system is introduced. The operation characteristics of the main components is analyzed, such as solar photovoltaic panels, batteries, inverter, etc. Based on the study of the mathematical model and the simulation of components, the corresponding parameters which related to the system operation are obtained. Then the monitoring parameters of photovoltaic home system are given out, which are the foundation of establishing evaluation indexes system and the real-time monitoring system.Secondly, the evaluation indexes systems which relate to the operation of photovoltaic home system are established. To establish the operation evaluation system of photovoltaic home system, the basis of chosen evaluation indexes and ways for data acquisition are discussed from the aspects of power output, energy consumption, effectiveness, power quality, equivalent standard index. In the later chapter, this thesis presents the evaluation model of photovoltaic home system by using the improved technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(TOPSIS) method with the combination weighting method, combining analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight method.Thirdly, case study of photovoltaic home system is presented. This thesis has applied the evaluation model on a real system. The evaluation results demonstrate that this model could make an overview evaluation of the system. Then, the in-depth analysis of the photovoltaic home system is made on the aspects of the quantity of electricity, power quality, as well as the system effected by dust. This thesis also shows the power generation efficiency of the system influenced by temperature and the efficiency difference of different photovoltaic systems.Finally, the design of monitoring and evaluation platform is presented for the photovoltaic home system. For the application of the photovoltaic home system, a real-time monitoring of photovoltaic system is exploited according to the operating characteristics of the system. The work includes the design of the overall system framework, hardware, software, as well as WEB application.
