Study On Operation Safety Evaluation Inex System And Evaluation Method Of The Extra-long Classified Highway Tunnel

With the increasing number of highway tunnels, the operation safety of tunnel has received more and more concern for public. Different from the general highway road, the operating environment of highway tunnel is relatively closed, which brings more difficulties in escape-rescue. As a result, tunnel accidents often cause great casualties and property losses. This paper focuses on the operation safety evaluation index system and evaluation method of the extra-long classified highway tunnel with a single entrance and two-way traffic, aiming at providing theoretical support and reference for the operation safety evaluation of extra-long classified highway tunnels and other highway tunnels.The main contents and results of this research are shown as follows:(1)The sets of original indexes are optimized by use of the experts’ expected values which obtained through the Delphi method, and the optimal sets of evaluation indexes are established.(2)Based on the analyses of operating environment characteristics of different tunnel sections, a segmented evaluation method for operation safety of the extra-long classified highway tunnel is put forward. Evaluation index systems of both tunnel entrance and the middle section are established according to the optimal sets of evaluation indexes.(3)Taking the objective and subjective factors into account, a solving method for the comprehensive weights of evaluation indexes is presented with a mathematical combination of the multiplication scale method and the entropy method, and indexes’ objective weights have acquired based on the experts’ expected values.(4)According to the existing domestic criterions and researches of international and domestic academics, the index evaluation standard is proposed.(5)On the basis of the established evaluation index system, the calculation method of index weight and the extensional theory, a multilevel extensional comprehensive evaluation model for the operation safety evaluation of the extra-long classified highway tunnel is built. The validity of this model is verified through a real tunnel.
