The transfinite event rate of High Plateau Airline is far greater than general airline because of complex terrain, variable weather and hypoxic environment that are seriously restricting the flight safety. At the same time, more and more airports have applied to join the high plateau airport operations, which will result in further risk of high plateau airline. It is the most effective measure to employ the qualified high plateau airline pilots for airline, which can reduce the risk of operation. But there’s uncommon research on the competency of the high plateau airline pilots, and the accessmechanism and training system are lack of basic data with scientific nature and guidance for high plateau airline pilot, therefore, it is obviously that the safe operation of the high plateau airline can not be ensured.In this paper, the competency of the high plateau airline pilots was discussed. The evaluation dimensionwas constructed by adopting research paradigm of job analysis (O*NET) and questionnaire. The high plateau airline pilot competency model was constructed by questionnaire.The result of the questionnaire was used to validate the cross validity, and evaluation of the school standard sample method was used to verify the structure validity. Finally, the high plateau airline pilot personnel selection scheme was proposed based on the competency model. The results indicate:the competency of the high plateau airline pilots includes four primary dimensions (professional knowledge, flying skills, cognitive ability and professional quality) and 20 secondary dimensions; There are significant differences between the 10 competency characteristics of high plateau airline pilots and general airport pilots in the aviation meteorological knowledge, risk identification, spatial orientation ability and so on.Through job analysis and questionnaire survey, the competency model of high plateau airline pilots has good reliability and validity.The competency of civil aviation practitioners was further enriched by establishing the competency model of airport pilots in high plateau airline, which also has a certain reference value for improving flight safety theory and psychological selection of high plateau. |
