The greenway is a kind of public goods which has ecological, environmental, andsocial value.90s of last century, many countries around the world had been carrying out planningand practice about the greenway, forming the climax of the Greenway movementworklwide. After that the greenway was introduced into China. After research accumulation more than ten years, the greenway network planning began tospring up in more economically developed areas of the southeast of China, showing atendency to spread across the country. Especially in the City-greenway rapid construction in the country. But, not for the type of City-greenway functional studies, in addition also the lack of relevant evaluation criteria. In this paper, according to current research to make a specific analysis of the City-greenway. According to the function of greenways and the characteristics of City-greenway summarize City-greenway function:Ecological functions; Landscape function; Social Function.Based on the above background, through the Ecological functions; Landscape function and Social Function to construct the City-greenway function evaluation model. Ills the blank of the urban greenway network evaluation, providing thetechnical support for building the urban greenways network planning feedback mechanisms.Through the methods of theoretical analysis and expertconsultation,23 indicator is chosen as the City-greenway function andevaluation indicator at last And through the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to bestowweighing for the indicator, the City-greenway function evaluation model isformed.Take the greenway along the Beijing Second Ring Road for example, it was evaluated by using the City-greenway function evaluation model. Finally, the greenway along the Beijing Second Ring Road evaluation total score of 7.1731; rank grade Ⅱ. East of Beijing Second Ring Road evaluation total score is 4.5932; rank grade Ⅲ. North moat of Beijing Second Ring Road evaluation total score is 8.0338; rank grade Ⅰ. West of Beijing Second Ring Road evaluation total score is 5.0236; rank grade Ⅱ. South moat of Beijing Second Ring Road evaluation total score is 8.0338; rank grade Ⅰ. Thus, the southern section of the moat and the northern section of the moat full-featured and given full play; West Second Ring Road section features a more complete; East Second Ring Road section features lacking. And for four different issues raised Beijing is a bicyclic ring Green Road Construction and Improvement direction. And for four different issues raised the greenway along the Beijing Second Ring Road construction and improvement direction.Eventually, according to the results of the above study and research, proposed optimization strategy of City-greenway in ecological function, landscape function, social function in three areas.
