Public Space Design In Commercial Complex Of Coastal Tourist City

With the acceleration of urbanization and the improvement of living standard of domestic citizens, commercial complex of coastal tourist city, regarded as a new pattern of urban experience space which becomes a condenser of economy, culture and tourism and on behalf of the city image and landmarks. Commercial complex is a carrier to show the regional culture characteristics of the city.The main purpose of this paper is to combine the characteristics of the regional symbol with the design of the public space of commercial complex. Through the analysis of the traits of coastal space, the development mode of the tourism complex is involved in the creative development mode of commercial complex. The research object is divided into three layers to discuss the commercial complex public space design and provides the research method and strategies. The final part of the dissertation makes a statement and explanation under the direction of further study.
