Under the current inventory planning,urban regeneration has been carried out widespreadly.The construction of commercial complex is one of the important means to enhance the vitality of the historic region in the city,which have a huge impact on the surrounding commercial space.The competition and coexistence between the new and old commercial space is a prominent problem.This research reviews the literature and development history of commercial complex.Based on the location of historic region and the operability judgment of data acquisition,Wuyue square,Gulou District,Nanjing is selected as the research case.Firstly,based on theoretical research,the judgment of data acquisition operability and case applicability,establish the interaction element system between Wuyue square and surrounding commercial space.The interaction element system including four primary elements,i.e.commercial space structure,consumption structure,traffic organization and patial structure,and 14 secondary elements.Secondly,the interactive relationship between Wuyue square and the surrounding commercial space is investigated by means of data analysis,questionnaire interview and current situation survey.From the perspective of supply and output,we can conclude that the significant positive interaction between Wuyue square and the surrounding commercial space is supported by commercial format,customer source and space structure,and the negative interaction result is resulted from the traffic contradiction.Finally,from the three perspectives of developers and operators,urban planners and government departments,this paper puts forward the strategy of interaction between old city commercial complex and surrounding commercial space. |
