The Ecological Landscape Transformation Of Yuan Dynasty City Wall Ruins Heritage Parkin Xitucheng Section

With high historical and ecological characteristics, City River Park becomes an important part of urban ecosystem which provides city residents a leisure, hydrophilic and entertainment environment. However, in 1980s, the City Rivers were treated and reformed in a simple and crude way under the influence of traditional river management way. City River lost its own natural repair ability both with the broken ecological environment of the river bank, therefore, City River Park became the sparsely populated in the city. Now as the gradually improvement of peoples living standard, the ecological consciousness and calls for the ecological modification of City River Park is coming around corner.In this paper, on the basis of landscape ecology and landscape design, some related concepts of City River Park are put forward. Moreover, the ecological design principles and the importance of City River Park are explored and discussed respectively. By analyzing the studies of excellent cases and domestic and foreign theory combined with the present situation of China, some existing transformation problems are propose. The landscape design concept and method of ecological reconstruction are summed with the draw lessons from foreign concrete reforming experience. Finally, according to the Yuan dynasty city wall ruins heritage Park in Xitucheng section specific channel status, culture, climate and general traffic situations and the analyze of surrounding ecological environment, a series of transformation design scheme is cleared and positioned according to the principles of ecological design which hope provide some reference options to the City River Park ecological transformation.
