The Research And Improvement Of The Passing Ability Of The Double Trailer Train

In recent years, with the world economy continue development and global shipping volume continues to increase, trailer trains with high efficiency, low consumption, timely, flexible multi had been began to play an important role in the transport in the western developed countries. In the surrounding of global economic development and rapid construction of our country highway network, many trailer trains would become China’s main transport. At present, mainly large tonnage of highway transportation of our country was dominated by single hanging car train. The main reason was lacked of the further understanding with passing the monster road and driving operational flexibility.In this paper, the double trailer trains was the main research object. Firstly, the structure of the vehicle was simplified according to the vehicle’s passing performance, and the theoretical of vehicle turning process was calculated by using graphic method combined with multi-body dynamics. Then the theoretical calculation was verified in Adams, and the turning radius was 17.3 m. Through the analysis of the turning process of the vehicle, the drivers were guided in the actual operation. Combined with the actual situation of our country, it made a simulation analysis on the actual situation of the lane changing and turning of the road in the city, so as to objectively evaluate the maneuverability of the vehicle. Finally, the result showed that the second of Trailer was weaker on the tractor’s tracking and the returning ability in the vehicle turning process.Aiming at this problem, this paper was proposed the improved scheme of vehicle design. The differential device was added in the first and second of Trailers of the link device, and the result showed that the scheme was improved the geometry of the whole vehicle. Through the research of this paper, we could master the adaptive capacity of the double trailer trains in our country, and provide the theoretical support and reference for the application of the double trailer trains in the city road, and accelerate the pace of double trailer trains in our country.
