With the development of freeways, the velocity of automobile has increased considerably, the automobile suspension has become more and more important, it play an important role in automobile handling and stability and automobile comfort or braking stability. So automobile suspension kinetics/elastic kinetics simulation has been a very important task in automobile design and development.The automobile suspension is a multi-body system and the motion relationship among the parts is very complicated, so it brings many difficulties to compute the various characteristics with traditional computation methods.ADAMS(Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems) is a simulation software of mechanical system used most widely in the world.Based on the ADAMS virtual model technology, the automobile suspension is regard as a multi-body system which parts connect and motion each other . with the help of ADAMS/View,this paper established multibody dynamics model of Macpherson front suspension of Chamber car which is increasingly wide used in modern car, and the effects of suspension parameters when wheel travel or turn were studied.The ADAMS entity numeric suspension kinetics simulation provides an efficient and updated tool for developing suspension system.Meanwhile,on the fundamental parameters that can be acquired in the primary design stage of a new car or a car which it has put in used , this paper utilizes ADAMS/Car to establishes the simulation parametric modeling of a suspension according the topology structure of Macpherson front suspension system, In this model, we considered the front suspension system ,steering system and the tiremodel in detail, and the bushing effect was included in this study,and it is very convenience to carry out kinetics/elastic kinetics simulation .all kind of the suspension parameters on handling and stability and automobile comfort were analyzed. Therefore , in stage of devloping a new car ,we can have general understanding on the suspension's capability , it would provide a efficient way to optimize suspension parameters.
