With the rapid development of China's logistics industry and the management strengthened of illegal modification and overloading of transport semi-trailer industry,the innovation and development of transport semi-trailer industry has begun.Based on the actual demand of modern logistics transportation,it is necessary to research and develop a full load of van semi-trailer with large internal volume,high structure reliability and conforming to modern logistics transportation mode.The static analysis method commonly used in semi-trailer industry can not accurately obtain the dynamic performance of the semi-trailer,which is not conducive to the accurate design and improvement of semi-trailer in the early stage of the design.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out dynamic performance simulation and analysis of semi-trailer.In this paper,a full load of independent suspension van semi-trailer is used as the research object,the simulation based on finite element analysis is applied to analyze the fatigue life of van semi-trailer in a virtual environment.We use the softwares such as Hypermesh,MSC.Nastran,ADAMS/Car and MSC.Fatigue to realize the simulation.The finite element simulation specification for this model is established,and technical support is provided for the design and improvement of full load of van semi-trailer.The finite element model of the van semi-trailer is established by using shell element in HyperMesh software,which adopts the spring element,the rigid element and the beam element to simulate the independent suspension.Due to the complicated working conditions of the van semi-trailer,the structural analysis of the four typical working conditions of horizontal bending,emergency braking,rapid turning and ultimate torsion is carried out in MSC.Nastran software.The stress and displacement nephogram of each working condition are obtained,and the strength and stiffness of the van semi-trailer are analyzed and evaluated.According to the geometric parameters and dynamic parameters of van semi-trailer,steering system model,powertrain model,suspension model of tractor,cab model,frame model,van semi-trailer model and model of air spring independent suspension are established in ADAMS/Car software,and the assembly of vehicle dynamics model is completed.According to the actual road condition for driving by van semi-trailer,the counterforce-time course of fully loaded are gained by using grade B road spectrum as input,which provides the load spectrum data for the fatigue life prediction.Finally,the stress distribution of external connection postion of the van semi-trailer under the unit load are calculated by the principle of inertia release.Combined with load spectrum and S-N curve of material,fatigue life prediction of van semi-trailer is made by MSC.Fatigue software,and fatigue life cloud chart is obtained.The study shows that the strength and stiffness of van semi-trailer meet the design requirements.From the fatigue life analysis results,the conclusion that the van semi-trailer has sufficient anti-fatigue properties and reliability is obtained.In this paper,the dynamic performance simulation method for the van semi-trailer is established,and the analysis data is accumulated,they are of great significance to improve the design level of the domestic semi-trailer and promote the wide application of the full load of van semi-trailer in the domestic transportation industry.
