| Small commerce - street, an important category in modern commercial street system, is a more detailed classification of the commercial street, the outside space of which is a public space in commercial street system, also playing an important part in urban public spaces, and known as an ideal place for human casual, communication, entertainment and shopping. It lasts the model of the traditional high street business. Retaining the basis of the traditional high street characteristics, while making up the drawbacks of traditional business makes it continue to today.Currently, most of street construction or research are mainly focused on large commerce - street and commercial pedestrian street, and paid less attention on improving and creating small commerce - street external space environment quality. Actually, small commerce - streets are more close to public life, as a city street space which is easier contact to people. Because most of the small commerce - streets rely on residential floor, which combines the building interface from the bottom commercial form of the road interface surrounding the street space. It is a residential adjacent closely related to people’s daily. On construction of small commerce - street stands, external space design and urban design research lack demands for people in, which restrict the function and perfection of small-commerce - street to a certain extent. Therefore, a small commerce - street of the city in Chengdu is set as an example in this paper, by studying the spatial morphology characteristics and psychological needs of human behavior in high street, and discussing a method to consistent the demand for people with the use of the small business - street outside space. The nature of street landscape environment of outer space are demonstrated from different horizon. Ultimately, it is realized to rich urban streetscape, to improve of the space environment, and a goal to convenient shopping, leisure, communication of social activities. |
