The Revival Strategies Study Of Landscape City Spirit In Chinese Contemporary Architecture In The Perspective Of Tectonic Culture

Architecture, as an ancient subject, is a combination of technology and art. Because of the special historical reasons, our country is facing the problem that contemporary architecture is lack of traditional culture.The spirit of Landscape City is formed from the traditional culture due to the closed social state before the Opium War happened in China, it’s acting a positive role to the architecture in China. During the nineties of the last century, Chinese famous scientist Qian Xuesen proposed the concept of Landscape City, the idea still has a positive significance now to the construction activities in those same-looking cities that lack of heart-warming spaces. In the contemporary construction process, the concept of Landscape City presents in different ways, such as the development of the regional culture, the attention to the city issues, the pursuits to the new technology.The theory of Tectonic is formed in the process of "poetic construction" based on the study of the regional culture in western architecture. The theory system is relatively mature, and the practice is rich in content. The pursuing of the regional culture beauty revival has a lot in common with the pursuits of the complete and poetic construction system of the traditional landscape culture in China, The theory of Tectonic has a good guiding significance to the spiritual revival of the Landscape City of the contemporary architecture in China.The research object of the thesis is the spirit of the Landscape City, the theoretical basis of the thesis is the theory of Tectonic, the ultimate goal is to find revival strategies. The core chapters is accordant to the three aspects of the theory of Tectonic, in order to find the strategies of the spiritual revival of the Landscape City of the contemporary architecture in China. The main research content is divided into the following parts:First, summarize the historical context of the traditional landscape cultural and the spirit of Landscape City, define the different periods according to the different characteristics as:Stage of simple and natural views; Stage of possessing natural grace views; Stage of the merging of "Confucianism", "Tao", "Zen" artistic views; stage of the ponder of "presence" and "absence" and the stage of the popularity of the landscape organization. According to the performance of the Landscape City spirit, separate the contemporary architecture in China based on the interests of the architects,, lay a good foundation for the following research.Second, process the research according to Landscape City spirit and the traditional landscape culture in different ways which of materials, spatial structure orders and cultural connotation. The research is based on the three definition of the 3 levels of the Tectonics’ structure and artistic characteristics, which are:first, the inner chamber of techne, the literal material construction; second, the architectural orders, the representation of technology(or the mask of techne); and finally, third, the sculptural frieze atop the second layer of orders, the presentation of human tales, myths or illusions (the mask of the mask).Next, the last three parts constitute the core chapters of the thesis, the core chapters carry out in accordance with:1, the pectination of the concept; 2,the research to the contemporary architecture situations; 3, the reflection of the contemporary architecture situations; 4, bring out the strategies to the situations.Finally, make a summary of the thesis research, analysis the advantages and disadvantages of the thesis, and give suggestions to the next stage of research.
