The fringe area of a city is the most significant and vibrant area of the process of city development.It is to coordinate urban and rural fringes of space, but also the prototype of the future city urban development, the construction activities frequently show its great potential for development. As reflected in the level of public service an important part of the commercial center layout suitable or not significant. This thesis is based on this background, Jiangning District as an example to explore the content and methods of urban fringe business center of the layout, in order to expand the urban fringe of commercial space, enhance the level of business services, urban and rural public service equalization provide a viable approach to planning.To examine the current situation in urban fringe development of China’s commercial center of the layout, there is a fringe business development and population size does not match the scale of commercial space layout confusion, lack of system construction business centers, commercial activities irrational structure and other issues, and the traditional emphasis on focusing on the layout of urban commercial center commercial centers in urban areas configuration, ignoring the configuration issues marginal and rural areas; too much emphasis on the configuration of physical facilities, ignoring the ability to enhance the business center services; emphasizes the key commercial center of the site, ignoring the business center services range, etc., can not meet the needs of modern urban fringe commercial development, with the support of GIS analysis technology, integrated use of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, Jiangning District of Nanjing as an example, this thesis focuses on planning studies conducted its business center layout. Jiangning District of Nanjing is a typical peripheral edge of the main city area, we use GIS analysis techniques and methods used to build a commercial center Jiangning district system, and provide advice to key areas of the site layout of the commercial center, hoping to other similar urban fringe Business center layout of the building to provide information and reference.This thesis is divided into six chapters altogether:The first chapter introduces the researching background and significance, purpose and methods;The second chapter is about the preliminary research in urban fringe business center layout were summarized in urban fringe areas, business center layout and GIS analysis methods used in the commercial aspects of current research, discuss the content and features of the traditional layout of urban commercial center;The third chapter analyzes the existing layout of the status quo commercial centers in urban fringe issue, explained the evolution of the role of marginal zone will produce commercial center layout mechanism and influencing factors, urban fringe proposed layout is different from the characteristics of the traditional commercial center of the city commercial center layout and content;Chapter IV clarifies the Jiangning District of Nanjing which is the essence of the main city of the peripheral edge of the area, the analysis of development characteristics Jiangning District Business Economics and business center of the layout and problems;The fifth chapter analyzes based on GIS technology Jiangning District commercial center system for layout planning, and finally to Dongshan Market commercial center and Tangshan Xincheng class business center, for example, discusses the location model based on GIS business center layout methods and processes;The sixth chapter summarizes the main conclusions and insufficient research process of this study exist.
