Research Of Commercial Center Layout In Nanshan District Based On Population Distribution

Urban commercial center and population are two geographical objects in space, and the coupling of their distribution is one of the main research contents of commercial geography. There is a close contact in the spatial distribution of urban commercial center and population. Commercial center as an important leisure, entertainment, shopping and communication space, its layout which is reasonable or not related to the daily life of the residents directly. At present, the traditional layout of commercial center evaluated only from the "quantity", such as per capita commercial center area, service radius, commercial land accounts for the proportion of urban construction land, and so on indicators, but these indicators cannot evaluate the rationality of the layout of the commercial center and the convenient use for the residents.Nanshan District has rapid economic development, perfect supporting infrastructure, the high level of development of retail formats. But the most important is that nanshan district is basically formed by the top-down planning. On this basis, the layout of commercial center is studied. Therefore, its representative and typicality are relatively good. Grasping the commercial center of the location information, the amount of information and the collection of the sixth census data by the field survey, and on this basis, build a network date set. It is necessary to evaluate the layout of Nanshan District commercial center by using Arc GIS’s spatial analysis and network analysis. Firstly, the relationship betw een population size, population growth rate, population density and commercial center are analyzed by using ArcGIS’s spatial analysis method, and then obtain the preliminary features of the commercial center and population distribution of the Nanshan District; Secondly, using Arc GIS network analysis method, evaluating the status of different grade of the layout of commercial center by walk, bus and subway respectively; Finally, the actual service population and the actual service area of the different levels of commercial center are calculated by using the integrated method of transport, focus on the not serviced area and then combined the population that not to be served to configure the commercial center.For the layout of commercial center of the Nanshan District, it is significant to put forward three optimization strategies: First, to develop a reasonable commercial center development goal, must do the following four things: improving the level of commercial center, adjusting the development scale of com mercial center, following the principle of population distribution and coordinating the devel opment of the commercial center, Second, arranging the different levels of commercial center from the whole optimization. Third, improving the accessibility of the commercial center by strengthening the commercial center and public transport links and improv ing the pedestrian traffic network.
