Design Of Phased Array Antenna For ETC System Of Expressway

The expressway ETC system(Electronic Toll Collection System) can effectively solve the problem of traffic jams and toll cheat,it is the most ideal of alternative plan for MTC currently.However the ETC system still exist many problems of the bad compatibility, interference with the following car and the adjacent lane, the low rate of successful trade,the slowl speed.etc.The real-time tracking and the precision position to the ETC vehicle of phased array antenna can effectively solve the problems of the interference with the following car and the adjacent lane,improve traffic speed and the successful rate of trade, promote the efficiency of traffic.According to the constitution and actual effect of ETC driveway system currently,this thesis analysis the parameter of controlling the ETC antenna wave, formulates the whole structure and the implementation methods of phased array antenna, and designed the driveway layout of single lane ETC system adopting phased array antenna.The project effectively worked out the many problem of ETC system and had positive effect towards promoting development of expressway ETC system technic and extension service of ETC business.
