The calculation of shipborne large phased array antenna has always been one research difficulty and a hot spot in the computational electromagnetics field.With low popularizing rate of supercomputer and limited computer hardware resources,how to solve the target's electromagnetic characteristics efficiently and effectively becomes particularly important.In this paper,the Higher-Order Method of Moments-Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction(Mo M-UTD)is used to replace the traditional Mo M-UTD algorithm,which can only solve antenna problem of single type in poor precision.It can realize fast calculation of shipborne large array antenna in complex environment.The author's major contributions are as follows:In this paper,the in-depth research is conducted on the transmission of thick dielectric slab along with the diffraction-diffraction of ray-tracing,and the corresponding analytical solution is provided,which guarantees much more accurate results and fast er calculation speed compared to the old numerical searching method when doing ray tracing.The traditional UTD method deals with the antenna,which can be an equivalent to the point source.However,for the large array antenna with thousands of units,the actual size can't be overlooked anymore and it is inappropriate to use the equivalence accordingly.On the other hand,the RWG-MoM is limited by the computational power and can't effectively solve the large scale array antenna.In light of these problems,taking the impact of mutual coupling among array units into account,this paper uses the algorithm of the Higher-Order MoM-UTD to calculate each array unit of the array antenna as the source of UTD.The vector field interface between the High-Order MoM and UTD was studied at the same time.On these bases,the High-Order MoM-UTD hybrid method is produced.What reason shows the method is better than the traditional method is the analysis of the large array antenna near a typical scattere.In order to solve the problem of the analysis of shipborne large phased array antenna,the Higher-Order Mo M-UTD is used in joint simulation and calculation.The result of the given examples meets the engineering requirements very well.It demonstrates that the method has good engineering application value and practical prospects.
