Construction Of Evaluation Index System Of Urban Design Competitiveness And Empirical Analysis

Innovative design plays a more and more important role in the new round of industrial revolution.Germany seize the opportunity to put forward the industrial 4.0, given the new connotation of traditional industrial design,domestic design also entered the 3.0 era.The innovative design was incorporated into the national thirteen five development planning.The competition between countries and regions gradually towards the competition that innovative design as the core.City as the center of regional economic, the basic unit of national economic, gathered all kinds of innovative elements and resources.Therefore,in recent years, the research of urban design competitiveness has been the common concern of academia and industry.In fact,the research on the competitiveness of urban design is of great significance for enhancing the capability of independent innovation, accelerating the transformation of economic development mode, promoting the sound and fast development of regional economy and the construction of innovative country.Many countries hope to promote economic development and social progress in the region by giving priority to the development of some important cities, and thus promote the whole country to occupy a leading position in the future global competition.In view of this, this article has carried on the thorough research to the urban design competitiveness.The results obtained are as follows:1) This paper defines the concept of urban design competitiveness.It is considered that the urban design competitiveness is the ability to create value and continue to create value for all kinds of innovative design activities at present.2) This paper analyzes the characteristics and influencing factors of urban design competitiveness in combination with the existing research of urban competitiveness and design competitiveness.And set up an index system to evaluate the competitiveness of urban design, which includes three factors, nine factors and 24 specific indicators.3) Based on the evaluation index system, this paper makes an empirical analysis on the urban design competitiveness of Ningbo, Qingdao, Xi’an and Hangzhou.According to the analysis data, the corresponding conclusions are obtained.In addition, the article also studied the ways that the domestic and international famous cities to enhance the design competitiveness.Based on the empirical analysis of the four large sample cities, this paper puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of the competitiveness of urban design in China.
