Electricity information collection system is a power user information collection, processing and real-time monitoring system. Electricity information collection system design and development as the development of intelligent direction of the national grid to give full support in the use of intelligent information collection methods. The national electricity users in a timely manner through line network information can be transmitted to the grid background deployed around the center of the system successfully receives the correct data, the pre-design analysis process, the need for timely feedback of information. And then sent via the network to the user terminal line encryption devices to complete a timely interaction with the user process, which is an important representation of the smart grid. Electrical information collection system construction through to achieve a "big marketing" the core of the system and infrastructure in order to achieve "full coverage, the whole collection, all pre-paid " the overall goal. This is a national even in the international development goals of smart grid technologies and direction; smart marketing, interactive marketing is the core foundation; an online monitoring, orderly use of electricity, demand side management, intelligence analysis, decision support core assurance.I will analyze the design, application and worth of the electricity information collection system in the thesis based on my own practical experience in the implementation of electricity information collection system of Yinan Power Supply Company. The thesis begins with an analysis on the research status of domestic and foreign electricity information collection system and finds the necessity to develop the system, and then presents other knowledge about electricity information collection system. Analysis on the design of the system’s main station, communication channel, acquisition terminal, watt-hour meter and safety protection system design will be included in the systemic analysis of electricity information collection system. The application of electricity information collection system in marketing and other specialized areas could help power companies improve management effect and economic benefits. The system complies with national direction and requirements of modern marketing development. It has an advanced nature and practicality compared to similar systems is the leader. In actual operation it has achieved satisfactory results. Its prospects are very broad.
