With the development of China urbanization, climate and environment influence on urban draw more attention by researchers. As the key parameter of urban construction and development, the climate and environment influence of urban spatial layout had been neglected for a long time, especially the influence of wind environment on it. The investigation of urban spatial layout impacted by wind environment will bring important significance on the future development of South of Shannxi province mountainous towns which are ecological sensitivity, climatological unique and rapidly urbanized.In this project, the planning method of urban spatial layout was analyzed first to reveal the omission of climatological influence during the Establishment of plan. Then urban climate design method was incorporated. By comparing and analyzing the difference between the urban spatial layout and urban climate design, the urban climate design was separated into three modules, “climatological analyze module”, “climatological strategy module” and “imitative feedback module”. These three modules were also attempted to insert into urban spatial layout method. After this, as wind environment is one of the most important climate elements, the method of small urban spatial layout under the influence of wind environment was optimized. Additionally, the core technology of “feedback layer”——CFD was well studied. By introducing its mechanisms and advantages, investigating on its application during the design of urban spatial layout, CFD technology was successfully employed in the design of urban spatial layout. As a specific Shannan mountainous town representative, Long Ju Zhai town was selected as the case to study the “wind climatological module” after optimized and the application and research of the technical means.The research brought several inspiring results. First of all, the insertion of “urban climate module” into urban spatial layout can optimize the design of urban spatial layout. Secondly, the selection of simulation CFD as wind environmental imitative was feasible and suitable. Finally, the study of Long Ju Zhai town urban spatial layout confirmed that by inserting the “wind climatological module”, the consideration of wind climatological influence on climatological analyze, climatological strategy and imitative feedback can be achieved to optimize urban spatial layout.
