In recent years, the urbanization rate of China’s accelerated obviously, double background in the characteristics of urbanization in China and the direction of national policy, the small town was affected by the surrounding city expansion, land development and utilization for instant success, city development is not controlled, the small town land scale rapid expansion, the contradiction between urban function the layout of the structure, the road traffic system, municipal infrastructure is increasing, is moving in the direction of development is not reasonable. Road network system as the most important link in the planning and construction of small towns is the key to solve the current problem of small towns.Road network system of small towns is a very complex system.At present, the traffic situation of small towns in China, confusion, the internal and external disturbance of traffic system, the traffic capacity of the road traffic low, bad operating environment, traffic safety and other problems are also very prominent, the network capacity is also often can not reach to saturation requirements. In this paper, combining with the traffic planning and city planning in two areas, the development of small towns and location, to the small town were broadly categorized. Through field traffic survey, found and summed up the problems of small town road network. Based on analyzing the current status of road network, traffic system with the law of development, from the analysis to predict the traffic demand of the small town road network of urban internal and external two aspects, combined with the relevant policy prospect for future development. Focuses on the relationship between the nature of small towns with layout and road network system, summed up the relationship from the interactive mechanism, and try to set up the layout of land use and traffic demand model, traffic accessibility and land value model, using the mathematics method established based on land use layout- road network feedback regulation relationship, puts forward a set of relatively new town road network design methods, trying to use between the two layout and layout of road network to find a balance point, obtain a optimal scheme. The reasonable scale of problems of small town road network is explored, analyzed the influence factors of road network scale, according to the supply and demand balance idea to establish the road network model of supply and demand, and carry on the grade structure optimization of road network.Finally, the results of this study will be applied to the planning and design of road in Shanting District of Zaozhuang city network system, and to verify the model feasibility related methods mentioned in this paper.
