The Modular Design And Research Of Individual Transport’s Use Process For Physically Impaired

This article analysis and summarizes the individual physically impaired transport at home and abroad through the reflections on the background of the design. And proposing the modular design thinking of individual transport for physically impaired based on existing problems and defects. According overview, travel mode and the difficulty of travel of physical disabled persons, discussing the target population of physically impaired individuals transport. The article proposes the modular concept using a process based on the event type through the classification and applications of the modular design. The using process of physically impaired individuals transport is divided into three modules basing on a modular process concept. “Personal car Front”, “Individual Driving”, “Personal car rear”. The different physical disabilities to travel in the course of different facilities and operation demand were analyzed for each process of using modules.Where to seek design effectiveness and ease of use,the advantages and disadvantages and human characteristics were analyzed for demand for the status quo ravel facilities and mode of operation separately for each process of using module. And starting from the perspective of physically disabilities, proposing the most suitable for the needs of the physical impaired completely walkers facilities, assisted walkers facilities, extracting transport and out of the way and mode of operation. Completing the design about a full walker facilities, support facilities walker, product instances physical impaired individuals out of the way of cars.
