| Based on the specificity of complicated political, economic, technological and material risk conditions in international project, Contractor is probably suffered construction period loss and/or financial loss from contraction contract reason or reason beyond contract. In the process of most projects’ construction claim, relevant laws, international contract form, relevant procedure and evidence are the basis of project compensation claimSchedule management is one of the methods for project management, systemic combining construction events. Based on the link of events logic, it creates the critical path and non-critical path of events to facilitate the coordination and management. When claim occurs, it helps to retrospect the relationship of schedule management process, which increases the chance of claim establishment and provides sufficient evidences to claim for extension of time and claim for cost.This paper is focus on schedule management to be used for claim control, main achievements include:(1) confirming law basis and contractual requirement for claim;(2) using schedule interface management to confirm the parties responsibilities in contact, establishing work breakdown structure,understanding claim content and collecting material to form system standard;(3) using double logic compile schedule plan to settle critical events form critical path, preparing related schedule material and confirm methods to provide sufficient material for claim before or at the early stage of claim occurs, which achieve increasing the chance of claim establishment and providing sufficient evidences... |
