In Highway, The major source of water are groundwater, surface water and meteoric. The water is not only have affect to the safety of road traffic, and will shorten the life of the road. The water on the road face cause road slippery, vehicle skid,make the braking distance increases. The water in the road damage to the roadbed, pavement structure, reduce the useful life of the road. How to solve the problem of water damage on the road is the main target of this paper.In this paper, based on the highway from huhehaote to baotou, depth study on the highway area huhehaote to baotou hydrogeology, water forming principle.
