The Study On The Problems Of Highway Tunnel Waterproof And Drainage Systems In Chengde City

The development of highway tunnel construction in chengde city, bring huge economic and social benefits, but the tunnel damages for various reasons are affecting the normal operation of the whole highway system. How to reduce tunnel damages is an important research topic in highway construction. Tunnel is an engineering underground, influenced by groundwater , many tunnel diseases caused by the damage of drainage system. So,to reduce tunnel damages must study problems of waterproof and drainage system first.The author surveyed the operating conditions and the main diseases of chengde tunnel, collected data and proceed scientific analysis on it, based on the design theory and the drainage system failure mechanism, using reasonable method to study several main diseases form of tunnel, put forward the reasonable management plan. Through the concrete engineering examples, explained the process and the method of controling the disease. This paper analyzed the problems in the process of the tunnel construction, through the study on design, construction, management and maintenance etc, puts forward the measures to reduce tunnel damages. It is verey importiant to the future construction of highway tunnel in chengde.
