Recent years, the mileage of road and the number of vehicle have increased sharply, which brings huge economic and social benefits, but, as a result, the problem of traffic has become increasingly serious, affecting the people's production and living seriously. Highway Traffic Safety facility has a serious impact on traffic, the central isolation associated with the isolation facilities has been a more prominent problems in the highway, the traffic accidents, which are caused by it, are malignant. At present, the main study at home and abroad is real full-scale crash test vehicle, which costs are relatively high. While experiment based on the virtual model and simulation is an effective method to explore.This paper established 3D automobile model, curb model and automobile-curb collision model with the software named ADAMS on the basis of analyzing the curb on the free way; collision simulation experiments were made under the different conditions, such as collision velocity(60km/h, 80km/h, 100km/h),collision angel(10°, 20°, 30°) and different curbs(H1, R1, F1, RA3, RA5); then velocity, acceleration and the track of automobile after collision were analyzed and researched, and a better curb can be designed on the basis of comparison among difFerent curbs, which reduces the possibility of roll-over and helps vehicle return its original lane after collision. It is important to provide reference for establishment of the segregate installation and driving safety.
