The Design And Simulation Of TC’s Production System Layout

A good production system layout(workshop layout)design not only can improve material handling efficiency and reduce waste in material handling,but also can improve employee efficiency, which in turn improve production efficiency of the whole production system. Therefore, the merits of workshop layout directly determines a company’s product quality, productivity and economic efficiency.This paper first introduces the basic theories, methods and principles of the production system layout, plant layout and analysis of domestic and foreign research new methods and new trends. According to the analysis of existing facilities layout TC company workshop and future planning requirements, the first application of the general layout of the traditional methods( cell layout) completed the draft design layout workshop; then introduced into the system layout Act(SLP) for system design, get the SLP workshop layout program. Then the combination of computer modeling and simulation techniques using simulation software(Pro Model) units were established traditional layout and simulation models SLP layout program, after simulation, the output of the system simulation results are reported, and the data were analyzed and compared the simulation results of a comprehensive evaluation of two kind of layout scheme. Finally, to further optimize application system simulation method to adjust the production system layout, and ultimately get the best TC Company production system layout scheme. Research results of this project will be the construction of TC Company Building layout planning workshop to provide basis for decision making.
