Because the changing of the endowment concept, living will, community endowment way gradually accepted by people. As a community as the important carrier of pension, family pension, it is necessary for elderly community planning, construction and other aspects of in-depth study. Current has been built for elderly community still exist some disadvantages, such as unreasonable location, the size of the community is too large, ignore the economic capacity of old people, community planning and design does not take into account the needs of the elderly and supporting facilities and care services cannot achieve the original in the elderly old, etc. Elderly community how to plan for the elderly in order to achieve continuous care services, improve the elderly life quality, to create a comfortable pension environment for the elderly, finally realize the real meaning of the original in the old has become a research hotspot nowadays.Therefore, this article takes the living needs of the elderly, select continueing care as a breakthrough point, study on elderly community planning method. Aimed at the family pension for the elderly to provide scientific and reasonable, the harmonious atmosphere of the physical environment, so as to improve their quality of life. In this paper, through the psychological physiological characteristics of elderly population and demand, and community planning, focus is to establish the concept of continuing care retirement communities. By analyzing the theory and related cases at home and abroad, summarizes the related construction experience and, which can be used for reference for our country’s continuing care model provides the basis for planning and Revelations of the elderly community.
