Abstract/Summary:
The spraying glue machine is a new automation equipment in modern industry which can spray on different sizes and different shapes of products. This project is to design a mist type spraying machine to complete the sponge glue, the designing process is also used to reduce the glue line loss and pollution. Design of the overall structure of the glue spraying machine can be divided into the following aspects:structure design of glue machine, process flow, selection of spray nozzle, pipeline process design, mist system design, structural design and verification components. In order to achieve the desired effect of atomization, selected external mixing nozzles were studied. The FLUENT is used to simulate three-dimensional atomization flow field. The experimental study on atomization characteristics in mixed air atomizing nozzle is carried out by PIV (particle image velocimetry) to measure the velocity field, atomization diameter and atomization angle etc. in different working conditions. The effect of parameters such as medium flow and atomizing air pressure on the law of the speed and density distribution in atomization flow field is analyzed. The simulation results and PIV experiment results are in good agreement. The feasibility of the simulation method is verified. The FLUENT simulated data is analyzed by software Mathematica to get the relationship between jet diameter, injection speed and medium flow rate, atomization air pressure for the future to guide the selection of nozzle.
