The research about different operating parameters of rotary surface impact on the particle diameter of oil mist through the annulus will play a significant positive role in promoting to reduce or eliminate the harm to the environment and the staff. This paper, combined with industrial application site, study the change of particle diameter and velocity distribution about the oil mist particles flowing between rotary surfaces in the different relative rotation speed through a combination of simulation and experiment. I do a further research about relative rotation speed effect on the change of particle diameter, especially the high speed of rotation effect on it through making a change of two major factors-inlet flow and clearance size.Simulation and experiment is built on the basis of analyzing that oil mist particles travel in the clearance and researching numerical simulation model and numerical calculation method. The article clear major impact factors of the change of oil mist particle diameter, especially the impact of relative rotation speed. According to that, I established the Fluent simulation model and built a laboratory table to compare with it.Through simulation and experimental data analysis shows that with the increase of the gap surface relative rotation speed, the mist particle size at the exit of the rotation clearance is growing much larger. In the case of inlet air flow remaining3m3/h, when the rotation speed up to4900r/min, existing particle size analyzer has not been measured oil mist particles size less than5μm. Oil mist particles appear apparent settlement after flowing through the rotary clearance, at the same time the fugitive oil mist particles around the export are also less and less.Under the other same conditions, with the increase of the inlet air flow, oil mist particle size reduces both at the inlet and outlet of the annular clearance, particle size changes before and after flowing through the clearance is also decreasing and the relative rotation speed impact on the particle size is getting smaller and smaller. Clearance size impact on the particle size changes depending on the rotation speed. When the relative rotation speed is0, particle size flowing through the clearance is increasing in the case of the clearance length growth;particle size flowing through the clearance is increasing in the case of the clearance height decrease. As the speed increases, although they are still the same rule changes, the extent of clearance size impact on the particle size becomes smaller and smaller. When the speed reaches6800r/min or more, this effect is almost negligible and the main impact on the change of the particle size is relative rotation speed.
