In the information age today, the acquisition of high-speed and real-time data were needed in many areas, so diagnostic data acquisition was very important to ensure the stable operation of the whole system, and high-speed data acquisition had a major impact on improving system performance. In this paper, the system of diagnostic data acquisition and high data transmission based on PCI bus was designed according to the 1.5 km Shanghai maglev demonstration and operation line and the problem which occurred in its operation. The data about impedance, voltage, current and so on were uploaded to the computer through PCI bus and used for analysis in order to tomonitor communication base station and guarantee its normal work.This paper mainly discussed the design of the diagnostic data acquisition system in the communication base station and this system was mainly divided into two parts. The first part was an independent system of impedance measurement on a single board, which mainly obtained humidity data of related equipments’ working environment through resistance change of the detection sensor. The other part mainly included the equipments’ working voltage and current, environment temperature on board and the monitoring image data of base station. Impedance measurement was designed based on Atmel microcontroller and AD5933, which was an aingle chip solutions and reduced the complexity of the system design. ADT7302 was used to obtain temperature data of PCB working environment and ADM1192 was for voltage and current data and OV7670 was for images of the base station monitoring data. FPGA and Verilog were applied to achieve SPI、I2C bus interface design in control part, etc. Given that large amount and higher redundant degree for image data, the hardware compression method was adopted. Various data collected were sent to the local end of the PCI bus via LVDS through FPGA.The brief introduction and analysis about PCI bus were introduced, and the PCI9054 was selected as bridge chip between the local bus and PCI bus according to the actual need. FPGA was used to control the logic function of PCI9054’s local bus, which could map the local address and data to the PCI bus and complete the high data rate transmission.Finally, the simple outline of PCI driver programming design was introduced and WinDriver was used to complete the driver design.
