In the field of aerospace test, it is often necessary testing, storage, and the latter part of the data processing and analysis of critical system parameters, in order to provide a reference for subsequent research. In this paper, the characteristics of aerospace test system requirements for real-time, high-speed, long-term transmission design LVDS-based image data logger ground testing device. It is mainly used for the production of records, debugging stand-alone testing, and with the completion of the recording system testing of the telemetry system. In addition, for the previous ground testing device long-term transmission speed slow. The test device is a strong anti-interference and high-performance transmission the LVDS interface technology, implementing in twisted-pair cable of50meters to300mbit/s baud rate for data transfer.This paper describes the design of the test device. Hardware circuit use FPGA as logic controller. And use the USB interface to communicate with the computer. The device is modular in design. This paper elaborates a logical thought process of each module hardware circuit design and software design. And the paper describes the problems and gives solutions in hardware circuit debugging and procedures of the debugging process. USB interface and LVDS interface uses a the internal FPGA integrated high-speed caching technology. It greatly improves the speed of data transmission, and resolve processing rate mismatch problem. Instructions for the key panel switch control signal, then debounce signal by hardware and software design method. RS-422interface real-time monitor the working status of the logger memory module, and the working condition of the information display in the panel of the test device, the device has good real-time capability.Through the testing device and image data recorder connection, in order to achieve recorder performance testing and fault diagnosis. The testing device reaches a variety of requirements and targets, to achieve a large amount of data transfer, real-time function, and the feasibility of the device is verified through the test data.
