Variable speed dydrodynamic coupling is widely used in every department of national economy as a technology of energy saving which is advocated by country.In this paper,it is made a study of reliablity analysis in variable speed hydrodynamic coupling including these parts:Investigating and survey YOTCGP750 hydrodynamic couplering failure data applied in some petro,chemical enterprise which produced from a factory. Studyed the using reliability of hydrodynamic couplering through the failure data as the breakthrough point,on the basis of reliability theory.According to the function of variable speed hydrodynamic coupling,the machine can be divided into several subsystems. Based on method of failure mode,effects analysis and criticality analysis,made a detailed analysis involved failure position,failure mode failure reason and effects on variable speed hydrodynamic coupling’s subsystem.According to expert evaluation method for the failure mode and effect analysis.Depends on the research of failure data,make criticality analysis for each failure mode.Intergrated these two patrs in FMECA.Then got the key failure mode:oil leak,axle rupture,blade rupture and excess temperature.rupture,blade rupture and excess temperature. Using the failure tree analysis method to make a qualitative analysis to the key failure mode then calculate the minimum cut set of the top event.According to the investigation of the failure probability of bottom events make quantitative analysis and calculate the probability importance of every minimum cut sets.Aimed at the high importance of bottom events,put forward the improvement measures.Based on the result of FMECA and FTA,it is concluding that the important part of YOTCGP750 are shaft and blade.Making stress calculation of shaft and blade,Then establish the three-dimension model of the shaft and blade with Pro/E software and put the model into the the ANSYS workbench to make the statics analysis.Based on the theory of distribution of stress-strength interference model to make a reliability calculation of YOTCGP750.
