By analyzing the standards of auxiliary systems in substation of China Southern Power Grid (CSG) and State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), and investigating on implementation of the standards in Hangzhou and Shenzhen electricity companies, it is found that current standards only define basic interoperability of interconnection. However, the core part of substation is complicated configured, and less integrated. It results heavy burden for system sustaining. In another hand, due to shabby functions and simple sustaining management of the centralized control center, backup and storage of important data and further data mining cannot be well developed.Based on application of big data architecture on urban monitoring and intelligent traffic system, this thesis proposes an integrated architecture for next generation of auxiliary systems of substation, which contains four top layers:big data acquisition, data warehouse, data application service, and data visualization. Furthermore, optimized configuration of both substation and centralized control center and brand new design philosophy are provided.Based on assessment of statuses of current suppliers in optimization of substation front-end sensors are IP equipped, integrated and intelligenized, in order to simplify category and structure of essential devices, and achieve highly intelligence and integration. In meantime, core part of substation employs all-in-one design, which integrates the functions of original communication controller, ring collection host and video storage. Therefore, network architecture and product portfolio are both simplified. Intelligence and integration of the system are improved. Operation and maintenance cost is reduced.In the optimization of centralized control center, it focuses on building video & information database based on cloud storage for data mining and retrieval services. While plugin of visualized operation management and enhanced e-map service components into current basic web services, efficiency of system management is great improved and daily operation becomes easy and ease.Related enterprises and electricity companies have given great praise for the ideas in the thesis which offers optimization of auxiliary systems in substation based on big data architecture. Some of thoughts have been adopted in roadmap and planning, which is proof of practical and applicable values.
