At present, China is in a period of rapid development of urban construction.Construction consumption has accounted for20%to30%of the total commercial energyconsumption, and building energy consumption is still increasing. In order to build aresource-saving society, to ensure the sustainable development of China’s economy. Theimportance of conserving resources, reducing energy consumption, reducing pollutionshould be attracted enough attention gradually. Therefore, developing green building isconducive to reducing industrial energy consumption and reducing industry emissions, sothat China’s construction industry is gradually changing from the traditional developmentmodel of high consumption to eco-efficient development model. This is also in line with thedevelopment trend of international architecture.Thesis made the quantitative researching as the entry point which is the negativeimpact on environment and energy (such as carbon emissions and energy use and otherissues) by the equipment and facilities that it is supporting green building technology in theproduction stage. Using comprehensive benefit analysis model to analyze the incrementalbenefits of equipment and facilities supporting green building technology, usingEngineering Economics Model to analyze the incremental costs and the payback period ofthe equipment and facilities supporting green building technology in the different life-cycle,then puting forward the calculation method of incremental cost, the incremental benefitsand payback period of dynamic in the whole life cycle of green building includeing energyconsumption, emissions, operating costs, etc.This thesis made the following research:(1) Quantify the environmental, energy factor of the equipment and facilitiessupporting green building technology, obtain relevant data of green building technology inthe aspects of environmental protection and energy saving.(2) Propose the calculation method of incremental costs and incremental benefits andpayback period of dynamic of the equipment and facilities supporting green buildingtechnology in full life cycle.(3) Due to the current equipment and facilities supporting green building technologyhave not yet reached their design life, this article assumed different lives of the equipmentand facilities supporting green building technology, and estimated its total benefits,analyzed the impact of its cost, further clarified the changing of its dynamic investment recovery period.(4) Engineering Case Study. Considering the case of the equipment and facilities’overhauling or replacing, incremental costs of green building in the full life cycle (50years)are negative, verified that the green building is more economical than the traditionalarchitecture. Under pure economic, the dynamic investment recovery period is5.23years,Under the economic and environmental benefits, the dynamic investment recovery period is2.29years.
