A Research On Patterns And Planning Control For Follow-up Use Of Big Events

In the background of economic globalization, the big event has become an important tool of cities to enhance their competitiveness and achieve strategic objectives. more and more cities try to achieve their development goals throw big events, at the same time, in the background of new requirements and opportunities,the park of big events faces transformation of the function and structure,so urban planning must make the appropriate regulation of this. With the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength, the big international events increasingly tend to "settle in" China, meanwhile, having large scale and far-reaching influence, the parks of them are bound to participate in the follow-up of the urban structure adjustment. Therefore, the study of big events subsequent use is imperative, the use of models and how to use urban planning regulation is a topic worthy of further exploration.At first,this paper reviews cases of some representative big events subsequent use and makes an analysis of successful experiences and lessons of failure, and then summarizes four "modes". In the empirical part, this paper sets2014Qingdao International Horticultural Expo as an example, focusing on the process and method of follow-up mode selector of big events and the corresponding planning control measures. In the section of subsequent use of the mode selection, the paper is from three spatial scales which is the city,area ande the park,to analyze the Qingdao International Horticultural Expo subsequent utilization of resource conditions and other issues, and the conclusion is that Qingdao World Park will follow a composite type. In the part of the planning regulation, the paper is from seven aspects which is green building strategies, land use arrangements, road traffic system construction, public service facilities configuration, ecological municipal system construction, urban style control and project selection to elaborate and propose some targeted recommendations, in order to offer some reference for the future research work.
