Telemetry data recording device is mainly to complete the record of telemetry PCM datareliably and real-time storage during aircraft flight, then recover memory after landing andreading the corresponding data from the ground control equipment for PC analysis andprocessing. Telemetry data recording device consists of collecting and storing equipment, thecollecting equipment receives telemetry PCM data with10Mbps communication rate, thensend the data which are framed to the memory for storage via a parallel interface. The groundcontrol equipment communicates with telemetry data recording device, controls device toperform recording, reading and other operations and receives operating state information ofthe device, monitors whether the device is working properly.This paper introduces the present development of data recording device at home andabroad then give a detailed design scheme of collecting and storing equipment based ontechnical requirements and functional requirements of telemetry data recording device, as abasis for the follow-up design. These issues has been studied and elaborated importantly,include PCM data receiving, data framing and packaging techniques, reliable design of LVDStransmission and long-term422communication, data storage and so on, the working principleof each module and the respective hardware circuit and logic design are analyzed. Forlong-term422transmission technology, hardware mainly by optical coupling isolation,impedance matching, in terms of logic primarily through the transmission signal filtering, thedesign of the command word format, the command response mechanism, working state returnmechanism to improve the communication reliability of422transmission circuit. LVDStechnology in the aspect of hardware mainly by the reasonable design of serializer anddeserializer external circuit, PCB wiring correctly, in terms of logic mainly through the choiceof the ways of synchronization, the design of data format to improve the reliability of communication. By determining the invalid block detection scheme and the use of pipelinetechnology to improve the speed of data storage.Finally, we have test the data recording device many times and analyzed data integrityand accuracy, the data recording device can record data correctly and storage reliably, there isno data error and data loss phenomenon, so this device can work reliably and the design isfeasible.
