The project schedule management is one of the important branch in the field ofengineering project management, is one of the important indicators to measure projectmanagement level. Because Parkinson’s law of traditional project schedule managementmethods, and the student syndrome and other human factors, project time limit for a projectoften estimated time is too long and delay phenomenon is more serious. Critical chainmanagement technology to a certain extent, can make up for the defects of the traditionalproject schedule management methods, so the study of critical chain management theory hasan important significance.In this paper,the integrated use of empirical analysis, comparative research on thequantitative and qualitative methods. First of all, on the basis of the traditional schedulemanagement method, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional projectschedule management methods, in which the key techniques and basic theory of chainmanagement. Then, through the critical chain schedule management and the description of theplant characteristics, the basic idea of building a management model based on critical chainschedule management, the model adopts the heuristic algorithm to calculate the critical chain,and use the Project tools to map the critical chain Project plan, then the risk coefficient ofelasticity are used to identify the key chain and set the size of the buffer, the importance of thecomprehensive consideration of the complexity of the process, process level, resourceconstraints and other factors, set the import buffer behind the non-critical chain work, isadvantageous for the Project schedule control, effectively solve the conflict between the keychain rupture, resource problems, make into the buffer set up a more scientific and reasonable.The establishment of a buffer management mechanism, and formulate the correspondingprocess to manage the buffer. CPC transport enterprises, finally, the article to a repair shopproject as the background, through the study of basic theory of the garage project schedulemanagement knowledge as well as the factory project schedule management at home and abroad advanced management mode, use critical chain schedule plan model to the executionof project schedule management and in-depth analysis of the results. Proposed into the settingof buffer method has high stability and feasibility, and the critical chain schedule managementmodel can effectively shorten project period, facilitate the progress control, in this paper, themodel is verified the validity and reliability.
