As the main power supply equipment, diesel generator set is mainly used asself-contained power supply、standby power supply、substitute power supply、movablepower source and fire power supply. It’s widely used in various places as a powersupply equipment for its numerous advantages like stable power supply, easy to use,less affected by the environment, high reliability in use and so on.Central controller is a electronic control device that used to have a integratedcontrol for the diesel generator set, it’s the key part to control diesel generator set toproduce stable electricity. The stability of output power in the diesel generator isdetermined by the stability of diesel engine speed. So the diesel generator must beequipped with engine governor to ensure the stable output of rotational speed whenthe load and external environment change. From this perspective, this paper designsan engine speed regulation system, in order to control the output power of dieselgenerator set to stabilize.Firstly, based on the study and analysis of domestic and foreign diesel enginespeed control system and control strategy, this paper analyzes the works and motionof the injector and diesel, and establish a mathematical model of controlled object.Then this paper analyzes the principle of conventional PID, in connection with thelimitations of conventional PID method, this paper proposes fuzzy control method, tomake PID control parameters in real-time tuning, and then this paper make thiscomplex control algorithm simulation experiment to verify the feasibility. Thesimulation result show that, compared to conventional PID control algorithm, thisself-tuning PID control algorithm has better control effect on the engine speed control,and its anti-jamming capability also increased.Secondly, this paper designs the hardware of the speed control system used indiesel generator set. The hardware circuit uses STM32F107VCT6chip as its controlcore, uses analog and digital circuits as the interface circuit for acquiring andprocessing sensor signals, uses MCGS touch screen as monitoring platform of theentire system.Real-time speed value obtained through the acquisition of the crankshaftposition sensor signal. Through controlling the time of drive current to control the fuelinjection quantity, output achieve the purpose of speed control. The circuit has a faster acquisition speed and high conversion accuracy for sensor signal, besides STM32chip has strong computational power, it is able to achieve real-time fast speed control,at the same time, the circuit acquire and display temperature, pressure signal in realtime, so it has high reliability, in addition, the temperature and pressure signal can beused as a correction parameter for correcting the fuel injection quantity and improvethe control effect.Finally, this paper design software program of the diesel generator speed controlsystem. This software design realizes Fuzzy-PID control algorithm, STM32basicfunction module and ModbusRTU communications program which communicateswith MCGS touch screen. Software design is realized by library functions. It hasadvantages of developed fast, maintainability and so on. Then this paper designshuman-machine interface of MCGS touch screen based on configuration software,with this interface, users can achieve real-time monitoring to diesel generators.
