With computer technology and control technology, engine speed control system has gradually developed by the mechanical speed control electronic governor, currently the world have developed a variety of electronic speed control systems, but these are mostly single control technology, can not effective to overcome the engine load range and large non-linear factors; and increasingly stringent emissions regulations for diesel engines but also the survival of a severe test.In this paper, the main research YC2105diesel engine governor, the A-type fuel pump mechanical governor converted to electronic control governor, through the intelligent control gear lever to change the engine oil fuel supply, the diesel engine at idle, start play control and calibration conditions and power diesel emissions requirements. But the engine running and operating parameters more vulnerable to interference from external conditions, using the classic PID control is difficult to achieve satisfactory results, so the analysis of PID control and fuzzy control was based on the advantages of using two control algorithms, the two kinds of control methods together, present a more complete fuzzy PID control algorithm in MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation environment to simulate contrast, that fuzzy self-tuning PID control than conventional PID control has a good advantage. Finally, the engine bench test results showed that:The newly developed electronic speed control system is better than the mechanical speed control system, the engine speed characteristics, dynamic characteristics, external characteristics, compared with the original machines have a performance improvement. Fuzzy PID Control electronic speed control is technically feasible.
